 Ingredients for Sooji (Sheera)

  1. Semolina - 1/2 cup
  2. Pistachios - 5-6 (finely chopped)
  3. Green cardamom - 4 (peel and make powder)
  4. Sugar - a little more than half a cup
  5. Ghee - 1/4 cup
  6. Almonds - 6-7 (cut into small pieces)
  7. Raisins - 1 tbsp (remove the stem)
  8. Milk - 1 1/4 cup

How to make Semolina Halwa in Microwave and how to make Semolina Pudding Recipe India

  • To make semolina pudding in the microwave, put semolina in a microwave-safe bowl and add half the ghee and mix it in semolina.

 

  • Fry the semolina in the microwave for 4 minutes, first roast the semolina in the microwave on high power for 2 minutes, now stir the semolina with a good spoon and fry for 1 minute and stir and fry again for 1 minute, the semolina will be ready.

 

  • Add milk to the semolina, mix it with sugar, and microwave the pudding for 4 minutes, microwave the first 2 minutes on high power, stir the pudding with a spoon, now microwave the pudding for 1 minute and stir,  Microwave on 1 minute high power and stir.

  • After this, add 2 tablespoons of ghee to the pudding, add all the ghee, also add dry almonds, raisins, and cardamom powder.

 

  • Cover the halwa and microwave it for 2 minutes on medium power. Take out the pudding from the microwave and cover it for 2 minutes and give standing time, the pudding is still cooking.  Open the bowl, the pudding is ready, take out the semolina pudding in a plate or bowl, pour melted ghee over the pudding, and garnish with pistachios.

 

 Delicious semolina halwa prepared in the microwave is ready.  Serve hot semolina halwa and eat.
